BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the A-p (Agricultural-planned development) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District A-p a tract of land described as follows:
A 42.6 + acre tract of land generally located 1/2 mile east of Buckner-Tarsney Road on the south side of Old US 40 Hwy. and specifically described as beginning at point of intersection of south right-of-way line of old US 40 Hwy. and west line Southeast 1/4 then northeasterly along front said south right-of-way line 2194 feet to the C/L of said creek and southwesterly along C/L of Blue Branch of Sni-A-Bar Creek to a point 110 feet more or less east of said west line of said SE 1/4 then N 20 degrees west 830 feet more or less to south Right-of-Way line Old US 40 Hwy. then northeasterly along front said right-of-way line 200.59' to POB.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Ministry Council of the Americas (RP-96-023), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on March 21, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
