Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 16162, dated February 12, 2007, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute Cooperative Agreements with certain outside agencies funded by the County’s General Fund, for various public purposes, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $155,760.00; and,
WHEREAS, due to the current status of program development for Coins for Canines, it is necessary to withdraw the award for this program in the amount of $5,100.00, with the understanding that the program will be reconsidered for funding at a later date; and,
WHEREAS, the revised aggregate cost to the County for funding certain outside agencies by the County’s General Fund will be an amount not to exceed $150,660.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the cost to the County for funding certain outside agencies by the County’s General Fund will be amended to reflect an amount not to exceed $150,660.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the portion of Resolution 16162, dated February 12, 2007, that awards funding in the amount of $5,100.00 to the Coins for Canines program, be and hereby is rescinded.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
