Body
WHEREAS, Kansas City Transportation Group (KCTG) has proposed a Kansas City shuttle service designed to support Kansas City attractions and entertainment destinations, which will also serve to reduce the amount of potential drunk drivers on Kansas City area streets; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature supports the establishment of an entertainment and attractions shuttle service in Kansas City, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Jackson County, Missouri, that the shuttle service is established; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature supports KCIG's proposed entertainment and attractions shuttle service in Kansas City, Missouri.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
