BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

A 7.73ñ acre parcel of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 49N, Range 30W, in Jackson County Missouri; Commencing at the southwest corner of said quarter section; thence N 01 59'22" E along the west line of said quarter, a distance of 1122.00 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N 01 59'22" E along said west line, a distance of 254.17 feet; thence S 88 38'12" E, a distance of 1324.87 feet to a point on the east line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 14-49-30; thence S 01 47'31" W along said east line, a distance of 254.16 feet to a point, said point being 1122.00 feet north of the southeast corner of said quarter quarter section; thence N 88 38'12" W a distance of 1325.75 feet to the POB.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Donald Lappert (RZ-97-052), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on January 16, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
