Body
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department proposes to improve a section of roadway designated as Longview Road and Orchard Road to Blue Ridge; and,
WHEREAS, in order to construct and improve the roadway in accordance with the plans, it will be necessary to relocate and rebuild certain facilities of Sinclair Pipeline Company, a division of Sinclair Oil Corporation,at a cost to the County not to exceed $95,679.00; and,
WHEREAS, to effect this relocation, the Department and Sinclair Pipeline Company have negotiated and recommend the terms the attached agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached agreement is hereby approved, and that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
