Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Corrections and the Board of Police Commissioners of Kansas City, MO, have agreed to provide mutual aid and assistance to each other in the form of the temporary housing of inmates committed to the other's custody in extra- ordinary situations; and,
WHEREAS, such services, when provided, shall be at no cost to the other party; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Mutual Aid Agreement and Supplemental Mutual Aid Agreement provides a suitable mechanism for the implementation of this agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached Mutual Aid Agreement and Supplemental Mutual Aid Agreement with the Board of Police Commissioners of Kansas City, Missouri.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
