Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Proposal No. 32-02 for the production of a DARE video for use by the COMBAT Commission; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two proposals thereon proposals from the following:
Vendor Proposal
MT Productions $12,400.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Proffer Productions $16,530.00
Overland Park, KS
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to MT Productions of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best proposal; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County a contract with MT Productions of Kansas City, MO, as recommended by the Purchasing Director; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
