Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:
Description:

The 5 ± acres are located approximately ½ ± of a mile south of U.S. Highway 50 on the west side of Lovers Lane and specifically described as all that part of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 20, Township 47, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the east line of said southwest quarter that N 02?23'18" E, 335.86 feet from the south quarter corner of said Section 20; thence N 87?42'13" W, 678.28 feet; thence N 02?23'18" E, 335.96 feet; thence S 87?42'15" E, 678.28 feet, to a point on the east line of said southwest quarter; thence S 02?23'18" W, along said east line, 335.97 feet, to the point of beginning, except that part in Lovers Lane.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of David and Maureen McCorkle (RZ-2006-411), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on September 21, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
