Body
WHEREAS, the County requires the conveyance of right-of-way, drainage and temporary construction easements on certain property owned by Carl and Althea Huff for the widening of Colbern Road, Phase II Project; and,

WHEREAS, the owners of the property have agreed to convey the necessary right-of-way, drainage and temporary construction easements, to the County as set forth in Exhibit "A"; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of the right-of-way and easements; and,

WHEREAS, it is also the recommendation of the Director of Public Works to pay the sum of $60,516.63 for the right-of-way and easements as a one time lump sum; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the aforementioned right-of-way conveyance and easements, further described in the attached "Exhibit A", be and hereby are accepted and that the Manager of Finance be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the total amount of $60,516.63 in consideration for said easement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
