Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 12318, dated August 25, 1998, enter into a contract with Embrey Excavating of Kingsville, MO, in the amount of $371,649.44, for the 1998 Culvert Replacement - Phase IV Project, No. 2376; and,
WHEREAS, proposed Change Order No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust various plan quantities to as-built quantities and provide for a guardrail repair on Blue Mills Road, and said change order will result in an increase not to exceed $714.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the County Executive is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make final payment, on the contract...Fiscal Note
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
