Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. PW-02-97 for a cured-in-place pipe for the Jackson County Detention Center, Project No. 2345 (9); and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Insituform Missouri, Inc., of Chesterfield, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Insituform Missouri, Inc., of Chesterfield, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a contract on Bid No. PW-02-97 in the actual amount of $31,600.00, be awarded to Insituform Missouri, Inc. of Chesterfield, MO, as the lowest and best bidder; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, except final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
