Body
WHEREAS, The Office of the Clerk of the County Legislature currently uses Granicus Encoding, Open Platform Suite and Meeting Efficiency Suite for legislative meetings but is upgrading to the Governance (Legislative) edition of Operations Cloud; and,
WHEREAS, this will require a one-time cost for new hardware, and initial setup and configuration costs, which are necessary to support the fully managed video services; and,
WHEREAS, support and maintenance of the equipment are included in the price of the contract; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.1 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing and Clerk recommend the award of a contract for new hardware, setup and configuration for the video services upgrade for use by the Office of the Clerk of the County Legislature to Granicus of St. Paul, MN, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $70,000.00 for 2026, as a sole source purchase; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing and Clerk of the County Legislature, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the contract.
