WHEREAS, the County has received a payment from State Farm Insurance company representing the value of a Sheriff's Office motorcycle declared a total loss as a result of an accident that occurred on May 24, 2014; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the payment in the proper spending account so that the funds may be used to replace the motorcycle; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2014 Special Road and Bridge Fund be and hereby is made:
