Body
WHEREAS, Aquila, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, has submitted a request for permanent easement for the installation of an electric line on the west side of Prairie Lee Lake Park; and,
WHEREAS, the easement requested, which is described in the attachment, will allow the relocation of a power pole and line in the park; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department has reviewed the attached easement request and has no objection; and,
WHEREAS, the granting of this easement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached easement in favor of Aquila, Inc., of Kansas City, MO.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
