A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 88-97 for the furnishing of microfilming services and supplies for use by various departments to Dynamic Computer Solutions of Kansas City, MO ($33,903.94) and Automated Business Systems of Overland Park, KS ($5,631.10) to provide for their needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated aggregate amount of $39,535.04.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 88-97 for the furnishing of microfilming services and supplies for use by various departments; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be divided and awarded to the two vendors submitting the lowest bids; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in estimated awards to the following vendors:

Dynamic Computer Solutions $33,903.94
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Automated Business Systems $ 5,631.10
Overland Park, KS
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
