Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has certain personal property, itemized on the attached documentation, that has become excess to its needs; and,
WHEREAS, this property has become obsolete and/or unusable; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared this property surplus; and,
WHEREAS, Section 1131., Jackson County Code, authorizes the disposal of surplus personal property; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Purchasing Director is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus personal property as itemized in the attached documentation, by way of donation, trade-in, sale, to the highest bidder, selvage, or scrap, as he deems most advantageous to the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
