Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 21-04 for the purchase of greenhouse supplies for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,

WHEREAS, the only responsive bid received was from Keller's Flowerhaus & Landscaping of Kansas City (Jackson County), MO; and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Keller's Flowerhaus & Landscaping of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County a contract with Keller's Flowerhaus & Landscaping of Kansas City, MO; and,



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
