Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 55-94 for furnishing casualty insurance coverage for the County; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon the following:

Allendale Mutual Insurance Co. $175,272.00 Overland Park, KS
Haas & Wilkerson Insurance $192,974.00 (USF&G) Shawnee Mission, KS
Haas & Wilkerson Insurance $198,000.00 (Fireman's Fund) Shawnee Mission, KS
and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Allendale Insurance Co. for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
