WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200622 for the furnishing of security services for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twenty-three solicitations were distributed and four responses were received, the lowest three of which are as follows:
BIDDER PRICE
Walker Protective Services, Inc. $14.25 per hour
Independence, MO
Allied Protection $14.55 per hour
Nashville, NC
Security Specialist $15.00 per hour
Independence, MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Walker Protective Services of Independence, MO, as the lowest and best bidder; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended and that the Director of Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
