Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited written bids for the furnishing of a 7-1/2' Hiniker Pro Plow for use by the Sheriff's Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon the following:

Trim Rite Snow Products $1,910.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Knapheide $2,380.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Scherer $2,463.00
Riverside, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the acquisition of this new plow has rendered the existing snow plow as surplus property; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to 1134., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Purchasing Director has requested that he be authorized to dispose of this snow plow by way of trade-in; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the existing snow plow be and hereby is declared surplus property and the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it by way of trade-in...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
