BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

A 15 + acre tract of land generally located one mile west of Buckner-Tarsney Road on the south side of Burgess Road lying in the west half of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 3, Township 49N, Range 30W, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Section 3; thence S 88 03' 33" E along the North line of said 1/2 1/4 1/4 Section, 665.17 ft. to the Northeast corner thereof; thence S 0 27' 41" W along the East line of said 1/2 1/4 1/4 Section, 980.22 ft.; thence N 89
04' 26" W, 664.07 ft. to the West line of said Section 3; thence N 0 24' 33" E along said West line; 992.00 ft. to the Point of Beginning.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John Lynch (RZ-96-017), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on February 15, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
