Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Legislature will hold a closed meeting on Tuesday, April 2, 2002, during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Legislature; and,
WHEREAS, public notice of such closed meeting has been given to appropriate parties by the posting of notice in accordance with state law of this meeting; and,
WHEREAS, the purpose of such closed meeting is to discuss the purchase of real property; and,
WHEREAS, such closed meeting is allowable under Section 610.021(2) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature be authorized to hold a closed meeting during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Legislature on this date to discuss the purchase of real property.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
