Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 153-98 for repairs to Longview and Blue Springs Lake Marinas for the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Galva-Foam Marine Industries, Inc. of Camdenton, MO; and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Galva Foam Marine Industries, Inc., of Camdenton, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
