WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 106-96 for the furnishing of vending machine services for County facilities; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the highest five bids thereon bids from the following:

GSB Enterprises 30.3%
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

JB's Vending Service 30.3%
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Canteen Corp. 17%
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Treat America 14%
Overland Park, KS

Service America 13.8%
Raytown, MO


and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to GSB Enterprises of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the highest and best bid based on commission and low product price, as set forth in the attached recapitulation; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the County Executive and Purchasing Director be, and are hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
