Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB20031 for the furnishing of security service for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:


VENDOR BID (Hourly Rates)

NIS Security $13.00
North Kansas City, MO

Land & Air Security $14.00
Liberty, MO

Sunset Security $14.50
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be awarded to Land & Air Security of Liberty, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
