Body
WHEREAS, a water main relocation is necessary for the Public Works Department to continue work on the Colbern Road Phase III Project No. 2455; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends execution of an Agreement with Public Water Supply District #13, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, Public Water Supply District #13 has proposed to reimburse the County $18,462.00 for design costs and $150,932.00 for construction costs for a total sum of $169,394.00 within thirty (30) days upon receipt of an invoice from the Public Works Department and a copy of the fully executed Agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Agreement with Public Water Supply District #13 for the relocation of a water main in conjunction with the Colbern Road Phase III, Project No. 2455.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by that the Manager of Finance be and hereby is authorized to credit the payment of $169,394.00 to account code 004-1502-8040 for use by the Public Works Department.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
