WHEREAS, by Resolution 16544, dated February 11, 2008, the Legislature did authorize the Chairman of the Legislature to execute a Consulting Agreement with Fred Dreiling, LLC, to serve as an intergovernmental relations consultant, at a cost to the County not to exceed $25,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature now proposes to execute a First Addendum to the Consulting Agreement with Fred Dreiling, increasing the cost under the contract by $3,300.00, for a total cost to the County not to exceed $28,300.00; and,
WHEREAS, under the First Addendum, Mr. Dreiling will perform additional work in the area of ensuring continued financing by the City of Kansas City, MO., for the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Chairman of the Legislature be and is authorized to execute a First Addendum to the Consulting Agreement with Fred Dreiling, LLC, at an additional cost to the County not to exceed $3,300.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the original agreement and the first addendum.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
