WHEREAS, on November 2, 2010, Brent Lasater was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives, representing the 53rd District in eastern Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, Brent is a graduate of Blue Springs High School and attended the Joe Hearndon Area Vocational Technical School and Blue River Community College; and,
WHEREAS, Brent has worked as a professional driver for 28 years; and,
WHEREAS, Brent is married to his wife of 30 years, Veta, and is supported in his public service by his son Jarryd and wife Amber, and daughter Rebecca Nolen and her husband Belton; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Brent Lasater on his election to the Missouri House of Representatives for the 53rd District, and wishes him much success in the future.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
