Body
WHEREAS, the County and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers desire to enter into an Agreement, attached hereto, whereby the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers would provide storm water planning assistance to the County; and,
WHEREAS, the County's share of the cost of these services is $10,000, with $5,000 of that sum to be in-kind services; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends approval of the Agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into the attached Agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payment, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
