Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200121 for the maintenance of laundry equipment for use by the Corrections Department to provide for its needs for the upcoming two-year period; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only three bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR
Loomis Bros. Equipment Company
Fenton, MO
Cleaners Equipment
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
RJ Kool
North Kansas City, MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be awarded to Loomis Bros. Equipment Company of Fenton, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set out in the attached recapitulation and analysis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
