Body
WHEREAS, Sheila Johnson was hired by Jackson County on March 27, 1978, beginning her tenure in the Building Services Department, now Facilities Management, as a Clerk Typist II; and,

WHEREAS, Sheila transferred to the Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney's Family Support Division on October 13, 1980; and,

WHEREAS, due to many promotions, Sheila has had several different titles and jobs including Secretary II, Location Specialist I, Paralegal, Child Support Enforcement Technician I, and her present position as Child Support Enforcement Technician II; and,

WHEREAS, Sheila is an accomplished Certified Paralegal, and her area of expertise is in interstate enforcement; and,

WHEREAS, Sheila's passion for her job is reflected in the thousands of children that have had better lives in Jackson County over the past thirty years due to the child support she has collected; and,

WHEREAS, Sheila is a reliable, hard working professional, and throughout her 30 year career has served the County through five County Executives, six Prosecuting Attorneys, and seven Family Support Directors, and continues to be a successful and valued member of the Family Support Division; and,

WHEREAS, Sheila enjoys spending time with her family, walking, and movies, but her favorite way to spend time is talking with the younger generation about life, just as her mother and grandmother did before her; and,

WHEREAS, Sheila is one of seven children, and has two sons of her own, DuJuan Douglas and Justen Johnson; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby recognizes and thanks Sheila L. Johnson for her thirty ...
