A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a Permanent Utility Easement in favor of the City of Lone Jack.

Body
WHEREAS, the City of Lone Jack has requested an 8700 square foot permanent and 8700 square foot temporary utility easement across the Lone Jack Civil War Museum grounds to replace an existing sanitary sewer line; and,
WHEREAS, the temporary utility easement will terminate upon completion of construction operations; and,
WHEREAS, the grant of this Easement will not harm the park and is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Easement in favor of the City of Lone Jack, to carry out the above stated purposes in the form attached hereto...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
