Body
WHEREAS, County Legislative Auditor Kelly Markham Stegall has resigned from her position; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the Legislature appoint a new auditor to fill the unexpired term of this office; and,
WHEREAS, Gary Panethiere, a former County Legislative Auditor, is experienced in all aspects of legal government operations and possesses all of the qualifications for this office; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Gary Panethiere is hereby appointed Legislative Auditor to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Kelly Markham Stegall, for a term to expire December 31, 2008.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
