Body
WHEREAS, as a part of the resolution of a criminal matter, the Prosecuting Attorney's DART Unit accepted the quit-claim conveyance of certain real property located in the City of Kansas City as more particularly described on the attached conveyance instrument; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the Legislature formally accept this conveyance on behalf of the County, and declare the property surplus so it can be disposed of; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature does hereby accept the quit-claim conveyance of property located at 1527 E. 50th Street in Kansas City, Missouri, as more particularly described in the attached conveyance instrument; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property be and hereby is declared surplus to the needs of the County and the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of said property pursuant to chapter 11 of the county code.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
