A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a contract with Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, to assist in the funding of advertising and direct mail, at a cost to the County not to exceed $15,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the County and Negro Leagues Baseball Museum desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, whereunder the County will pay $15,000.00 to Negro Leagues Baseball Museum to be used to assist in the funding of advertising and direct mail; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
