Body
WHEREAS, on November 21, 2022, the Jackson County Legislature approved Ordinance 5696, awarding a contract for the furnishing of property tax software to Aumentum Technologies of Niagara Falls, NY, under the terms and conditions of RFP 53-22; and,
WHEREAS, on January 17, 2023, the Jackson County Legislature approved Resolution 21142, awarding a term and supply contract for the furnishing of IT professional consulting services to Remy Corporation of Denver, CO, under the terms and conditions of an existing, competitively-bid government contract; and,
WHEREAS, the Collections Department does not have adequate professional staffing to properly manage the implementation of its new software system and is in need of project management services; and,
WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Collection recommends utilizing the existing term and supply agreement with Remy Corporation to ensure that the vendor meets the required milestones and deliverables and to provide assistance to staff during this software transition; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to cover the cost of these additional services; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made:
