Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4281, dated December 13, 2010, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of the Family Court Division's Family Drug Court Program grant, in the amount of $433,312.00, received from the U.S. Department of Justice, for the period of October 1, 2010, through September 30, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 18264, dated September 30, 2013, the Legislature did authorize the extension of the grant through June 30, 2014; and,
WHEREAS, it is desired to reallocate a portion of grant funds for use during the extension period; and,
WHEREAS, the grant requirements allow up to a ten percent reallocation of grant funds without a formal request and approval; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary in order to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2013 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
