Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Request for Proposals No. 85-12 for a thirty-six month contract for the furnishing of a web filtering, malware detection, prevention, and mitigation solution for use by the Information Technology Department on the County's computer system; and,

WHEREAS, twenty-one notifications were distributed and two responses were received and evaluated as follows:

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award of a thirty-six month contract the furnishing of a web filtering, malware detection, prevention, and mitigation solution at a total cost to the County over the life of the contract not to exceed $20,172.99, to Braxton Grant Technologies of Woodstock, MD, as the lowest and best bidder; and,

WHEREAS, this award is effective January 1, 2013, with the availability of funds for future years subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,
