WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has received building permit fees substantially in excess of those projected and appropriated in the County's 2003 annual budget; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary so that the portion of these fees due and owing to the fire protection districts that performed building inspection services can be paid out; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2003 Special Road and Bridge Fund be and hereby is made:
