Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 152-98 for the furnishing of reproduction of recorded documents for use by the Records and Assessment Departments to provide for their needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, under the arrangement proposed, the successful bidder will provide the county the reproduced documents at no cost to the county, and make the same documents available to other interested parties at prices fixed in the bid; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Old Republic Title Company of Kansas City; MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Old Republic Title Co. of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
