Body
WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Buckner Tarsney Road Project, No. 2264, to acquire a right-of-way and temporary construction easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of a certain property owner, Effertz Brothers, Inc., Profit Sharing Trust, in the amount of $2,200.00; and,
WHEREAS, the owner has agreed to convey said right-of-way and temporary construction easement, and to settle the claim for damages and has executed conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $2,200.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $2,200.00 in the name of Effertz Brothers, Inc., Profit Sharing Trust, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, c/o Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
