IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an Easement in favor of the City of Independence, across a portion of Adair Park. Intro RESOLUTION # 11591, February 3, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the City of Independence has requested a 15 foot permanent and 50 foot temporary construction and grading easement through Adair Park to replace an existing sanitary sewer line; and, WHEREAS, the temporary construction and grading easement will terminate upon completion of construction operations; and, WHEREAS, the grant of this Easement will not harm the park and is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Easement in favor of the City of Independence, to carry out the above stated purposes in the form attached hereto...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
