Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200282 for the furnishing of one (1) wrestling mat for use by the Department of Corrections; and,
WHEREAS, having received no bids in response to this solicitation, the Purchasing Director undertook negotiations for the purchase of the product from a reputable vendor; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Resilite Sports Products, Inc., of Sunbury, PA; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
