Body
WHEREAS, the December 2007 Public Defender offices’s rent and operating expenses were not encumbered in the 2007 budget year, and instead were charged to the 2008 budget year, thereby leaving that account short $15,125.00 for December 2008; and,

WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to cover these costs and allow them to be paid in 2008; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the fund balance of 2008 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
