Body
WHEREAS, the Center for Academic Development at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, desires to develop a landlord training program utilizing the VSI learning delivery system, whereby it will develop a videotape and facilitator training materials, and will conduct landlord training workshops to train facilitators who will directly train landlords; and,
WHEREAS, the workshops will provide a guide for keeping illegal activity out of privately- owned rental properties; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Agreement sets out the rights and obligations of the parties; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and is authorized to execute the attached agreement with the Curators of the University of Missouri; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
