IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Greater Kansas City Building and Construction Trades Council. Intro RESOLUTION #12388, October 13, 1998 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, Dan Tarwater, and John Patrick Burnett, County Legislators Body WHEREAS, the Greater Kansas City Building and Construction Trades Council is the bargaining agent for certain county employees to meet and confer with the County about salaries, rates of wages, hours of work, working conditions and procedures for the settlement of differences as those matters related to said employees; and, WHEREAS, the County and the Council have negotiated a Memorandum of Understanding, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for the purpose of establishing salaries, rates of wages, hours of work, working conditions, and procedures for the settlement of differences; and, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the County. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
