Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Legislature did appropriate fiscal year 2005 funds for an agreement between Jackson County, Missouri and the Soil and Water Conservation District of Jackson County, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, Jackson County and the Soil and Water Conservation District of Jackson County desire to enter into a contract whereby the Conservation District will undertake conservation efforts which inure to the benefit and preservation of the road and bridge rights of way in Jackson County at a cost to Jackson County not to exceed $19,092.00; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a contract between Jackson County and the Soil and Water Conservation District of Jackson County be, and is hereby approved, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said contract, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is hereby authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the legislature.
