Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Legislature and Jane McQueeny, of the Popham Law Firm, desire to enter into a contract for the position of Legal Advisor; and,
WHEREAS, the Legal Advisor shall be paid the sum of $24,000 per year; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Chair of the Fiscal Commission is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Jane McQueeny, of the Popham Law Firm, P.C., for the position of Legal Advisor to the Fiscal Commission, in an annual amount not to exceed $24,000; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the contract.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
