Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals on Request for Proposals No. 4-08 for the furnishing of concessions services for use by the Parks and Recreation Department at Adair Park to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, a total of five (5) notifications were distributed and two (2) responses were received as follows:
BIDDER MONTHLY FEE (Payable to the County)
JE Gross Concessions, Blue Springs, MO $4,250.00
Karen & Ron Bridges, Independence, MO $ 650.00
and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be awarded to J.E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO, as the highest and best bidder; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
