Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 11857, dated August 11, 1997, enter into a contract with Brian Pollmiller & Associates of Lenexa, KS for the furnishing of tax bills and envelopes for use by the Collection Department in the actual amount of $49,385.00; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed increase to this contract is necessary to cover the cost of printing of additional forms and envelopes and the cost of forwarding and/or addressing the file correction or bills with incorrect or changed mailing addresses; and,
WHEREAS, this increase will not exceed $6,500.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute the necessary documents on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
